ADDRESSING THE IMPORTANT ISSUES

  • Develop career and transfer pathways in Sonoma Valley and other underserved segments of our community who are geographically isolated from the JC’s Santa Rosa and Petaluma campuses

  • Strengthen and promote healthcare programs to train more aspiring nurses, medical assistants, and health care technicians to meet the growing healthcare industry staffing needs in the years ahead

  • Provide strong oversight on the SRJC’s $410 million facilities bond to ensure both transparency and accountability with taxpayers

  • Encourage additional opportunities for students to have access to student and/or affordable housing, to increase on-campus living and recreation opportunities

  • Support our teachers, faculty, and staff to provide them with the resources they need to teach SRJC students

  • Collaborate with SRJC students and Student Government to identify unmet needs in the college campus community
